About the Exhibition

Harvey Preston Gallery is pleased to present a two-person exhibition with ceramic artists Eva Kwong and Kirk Mangus.

Eva Kwong’s work references her interest in the natural sciences. Colors, patterns, structures — the principles found in organic forms as well as the human body — generate the visual vocabulary that informs her work.

Kirk Mangus (1952-2013) approached the material of ceramics in a manner both inventive and uniquely individualistic. His work merged techniques of drawing and illustration with three-dimensional form in order to interpret and bring the imaginative into the tangible realm.
